Life
For The Powell Family...
(Steve,
Deena, Stephen &
Eppi with Anthony & Victoria, Brandon, Bambi, and Ethan)
 This
December
Steve and I will be celebrating our Silver Wedding Anniversary.
We have been blessed in our marriage with a great relationship, even in
a working environment. (Ha,
Ha)
We opened
an
automotive shop 20 years ago and have worked together in it for most of
those years. To really test our relationship, we built a home in
the country with Steve as the general contractor and started our
horse program. Talk about busy. The only regret
we have from building is that we should have done it sooner -
when our children were younger.
 We have four
children. Our oldest, Stephen 27 is married to Eppi and they have two children.
We have two beautiful grandchildren, Anthony and
Victoria.
Stephen has been with Town East Ford for 4 years and
continues to move his way up the ladder with number one sales.
Brandon 20, also is quite accomplished in the sales department.
He was the newest salesman to win salesman of the month. I
believe they received the gift of gab from their father.
Both boys are extremely personable and have a true talent for
dealing with customer relations.
Our
daughter,
Bambi 23 is a registered nurse at Parkland's
ER and
recently moved out
and into her first apartment. She loves the opportunity of being
able to share her faith
and
testament of God's miracle with our
youngest Ethan. Ethan 7, is our youngest and has had the most
profound affect on our family. We call him our miracle
baby. Ethan has had seizures since four months of age and at
nine months for unknown reasons his white matter in the brain began to deteriorate. Doctors told us he
would not survive and set us up with hospice to help care for
him. Steve called everyone we knew and asked them to pray
for him. We believe Ethan was healed through the many prayers of
family, friends and strangers who heard about him. He survived
and a team of doctors could not explain why or
how the white matter
had healed itself. We knew how and have felt God's grace in
our life many times over the years.
It has been a great 25 years, even through the bumps, we realize how
blessed we are.
